I hung my head in shame! And look it MOVED me!

So here you will find

a very quick review of .....lets say......the last

quarter of the year, give or take a month or two!!

After we came home from vacation ( you know the LAST blog)

we had VBS....lets just say our man grooves to his own beat!

The "men" took up some golf, little man also

made a hole in one!!! Who would have thought?!

This year Grand Dad took the cousins and Uncle Mark

on the train trip too, very fun!!!!!

This was at a Civil War re-enactment. The little man

has a VERY strong interest in the civil war and

Abraham Lincoln right now.

Someone MAY have turned 40 this summer....

We worked hard to get ready for the first grade!

We love 1st grade!!

The start of year 5 at Windridge!!!

We have started in our AWANA program at our church.

Somehow he thinks everyone comes JUST to see him.

This night was clown night.

We went to the zoo with his class.

SO, there you have it!

The blog is once again

alive...

just barely, but alive!

Now we will see if anyone actually reads it!!!

What a way to start summer vacation!!!

This is what we woke to each morning!

This is what sent us to bed each night!

Can you just say a huge PRAISE'N JESUS with me?!!!!!
In between those amazing photo's was more fun than you can even believe! We were all water logged, sunburned and ready for bed WAY TOO EARLY! (prior to this little trip, many plans were spoken about in the way of late night fun, food, and adventure.....it all proved too much for this group of happy "old" travelers!!!)
Here are a FEW pictures of some of the happenings....I thought you all would be glad I did not include all 301 pictures, some video may come later....

Matt the official fisherman of the trip! Not only does he catch fish....

He will throw in a few baby sharks to add a bit of excitement....where there is a baby there usually is a mama....let's all thank Jesus this happened on the LAST day rather than the first, because if it was the other way around this fair haired friend would never have dipped a big toe in that water!!!!

While we are on the topic of creatures who live in the ocean.....anyone want to meet a stingray, yep, that is right folks, we are not just swimming with sharks, dauphins and countless fish we swim with stingrays!!!!!!!!! HELLO!!!!!!! Several details where NEVER mentioned during the planning of this trip.....tall bridges and big water creatures that look at you and see LUNCH!!!!!

Shannon and I took the kids to the sound side of the island while the guys played golf.....we found this little crab friend; I think he was trying to tell us with "the eye" that he heard his friends were after us......

One day we took the ferry over to Mobile and went to Lambert's....only to be pelted with hot rolls!! Shannon took one for the team!! They throw rolls to you. Shannon was minding her own business looking at the menu when she was hit! (Right in the sunburn I might add!)

So it was a great week of wrestling waves (little man's head, after the wave won)...

For Sophie

So it has been a while since the last post and it is making some friends unhappy. I never like to have anyone unhappy so here is a variety of photo's from the last few weeks.....

Meanwhile inside, I have Consuela hard at work FINALLY changing my drapes!!!!! Let the record show, there were TWO sewing machines working on this small task; it was a team effort for sure!!

2009 has started with quite a bang!
Consuela was bitten by a bit bull (She wouldn't let me take pictures!
Little man is having oral surgery this next week!
Me and the main man are busy "refurbishing" our lives.
